AGB Solutions Ltd collects and recycles used oil for workshops, transport and logistics companies, fleet operators, manufacturers, engineering firms, and agricultural and horticultural sites across the upper North Island.
Aaron started the business on his own in 2004 after a few years collecting oil for his uncle. The truck livery took its current shape in 2005. In 2011 the business expanded again with the planning and build of our recycling plant in Tuakau, which is still our base today.
We run a small expert crew. Three drivers, two plant operators, and two in the office. The fleet covers multiple truck configurations with tanker capacities ranging from 6,000 to 30,000 litres, so we can match the right unit to the job whether you have a 200-litre drum or a full tank to pump out.
We are locally owned and locally operated. If your operation generates used oil, we can collect it. And you will be speaking with the same people who turn up to do the job. No call-centre script. No hand-offs. Just a driver, a truck, and a certificate of disposal when the job is done.
Waste becomes warmth.
The oil we collect does not go to a landfill and it does not go into a drain. It goes to work. Most of it heats horticultural glasshouses in the region that grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and flowers. Additional volume is exported to the Pacific for power generation.
This is what we mean when we say we close the loop. It is not a marketing phrase. It is what actually happens to the oil we collect from your site.

We operate in compliance with the Waste Minimisation Act 2008 and HSNOCOP 63. Our customers are covered too. Proper disposal through a registered collector means you meet your obligations under NZ environmental law.
We understand what uncollected oil does to waterways and soil, and we take our obligations seriously. Ask for a disposal certificate on any job. We will provide it.
